Choice of the Vampire 2 App Reviews

This game is very detailed, engaging, and really fun. I love the detail in the characters, settings and plot/subplot. I just wish there were more outcomes or more options. Ive restarted the game at least a dozen times to try and do things differently. One question I have is, is it even possible to become the Senator? I have played acting totally engaged in the politics and made choices that raised the stats that I thought would help with that and Ive also played completely ignoring the politics and it seems like the outcome is the same.. Dont want to spoil anything. Anyways, I highly recommend this text RPG. More people need to play it so we can ask each other questions!

Chill out, people. Sure, it gets a bit slow at times, but you have to realize that theres a third installment coming and this is a stepping stone to something truly epic. This is probably CoGs most customizable title, full of different paths, stat changes, etc., and theres a reason for that. Cant wait to see how the series wraps up.

The story continuously keeps one on his toes! I cant wait to read the next part of The fall of Memphis

This was great, just like the first one. I just wish we couldve seen Clotho one last time. I also wish it wouldve been longer! 4/5

I felt this sequal was a bit weak. Through the story I was continually uninterested and was struggling to pay attention to all that was said. I dont know how the author was able to make this seem so short while truly having so much to read at the same time. Despite the large amount of text I felt that not much happened in this part of the story besides change how others see your character. However I did like the way the story follows historical events pretty closely and accurately, but at this point Im hoping it gets better with the next installment.

Loved this. Its like a choose your own ending book. And you can play a million times because of so many options.

I love this series and I am waiting for the 3rd installment, so I hope it will come out soon. Great job guys and keep it up.

Does anyone know what happened to the first part? Since the last update, the app wont work. And its not on the App Store. And when I click on it from my update page, it just says its loading...

Its more of politics of vampire really there not a lot of action but it is still a good through and cant wait for the next one

This second Choice Game was, albeit thorough historically and fitting with the theme, horrible. You spend most of your time Writting letters that amount to nothing, there is no resolution in anything you do. Ultimately you end up in, what was it, Illinois...no serious love escapades like in the prior game, no becoming a senator, no nothing. The characters are also extremely streamline, cold and uncaring regardless of the vampire you talk to. Conversations, by the way, have been cut down significantly, there are clearly no skill challenges where even if you dont stand a chance in the strength department, you still have a chance to change it by some other means, which was an option in some challenges in the first game. Ultimately a waste of precious time and effort as you gain nothing in the long run for your prior actions, just like in game 1, aside from a few minor stat boosts.

It could have had some better plots to be honest, overall its a good sequel and Id buy it again. I wish there was more to it...

....not as good as the first one. The sense of adventure is really toned down to be replaced by vampire politics. Look I hate politics in real life, what makes you think Im going to like immortal politics. Lol in all seriousness, its kinda like how The Phantom Menace is to Star Wars, a lot of politics about some rebellion in the Society that I honestly didnt care about so neither did my character. Though it still has choice storytelling. Good buy.

Kind of a let down. Bring back the old writing style or adventure

I am honesty hooked on the choice of games and (though I dont really care much for the politics) I really enjoy the timeline. All these big events are happening in courses of years, changing the world as history should and it makes you really feel like an immortal. I, personally, love how my character is hallucinating about her past lovers. I hope to see the next installment soon!

This game is so boring. I couldnt even finish it. I expected to play a game about vampires. Instead I got municipal bonds and issues with 19th century education. I think I got about as much entertainment out this game as I do watching C-Span. Look its obvious a lot of time was put into this but maybe next time make it actually about what you advertise in the title.

The first vampire was excellent 5 out of 5 this one though... Like the title says its setting up for something in the next one. Out of respect for the first game and knowing that its leading to something big later Memphis gets 3/5 however hunting the rogue vampire was fun.

It wasnt as good as the first. Also, it felt incredibly short. Hoping the 3rd one will come out soon, and be much better

It has a lot of history and politics though So it can be boring for some But I still. Cant wait for the third one

Unfortunately this version seems to be buggy. The save importing from part one is broken. When fixed you will enjoy this game a lot if you like time spanning choose your own adventure games. The impact of your choices and stats, and lack of authorial railroading makes the story even better.
